“Working from home is great for me.  I can get a lot done while the kids are at school.  And in the summer when the kids are home, I have the flexibility to work in the evenings or on the weekends.”

Kathy has found that working from home fits her life style, “Working from home is great for me.  I can get a lot done while the kids are at school.  And in the summer when the kids are home, I have the flexibility to work in the evenings or on the weekends.  I like the fact that I can adjust my work schedule to meet my home schedule.  I’m very efficient when I work at home because I don’t have the disruptions of a typical office job.”

She has observed constant improvement in Bookminders’ systems over the years.  “The Bookminders systems are constantly evolving.  The staff is always tweaking our procedures to make them better.  Our Standards and Procedures cover everything you can think of.”

With Kathy’s high level of experience, she’s called upon to set up complicated new clients.  “I enjoy setting up new clients.  I like the challenge of working with different businesses.  You never know what you’re going to find.  I like to fix their accounting problems and set up good reporting systems.”

Kathy received her BS in Accounting from Point Park College in 1997 (Summa Cum Laude).  She worked for a major Pittsburgh law firm for nine years and for a mortgage company for one year, before joining Bookminders in 1999.
