Fifteen years ago, I attended a Bookminders recruiting event that offered the chance to join a growing group of work-from-home accountants based in Pittsburgh. The company presented an opportunity that was very different from anything else I had encountered. I had two young children under five so flexibility was crucial, and I highly valued setting my hours to fit my life. Over the years, the company has evolved and so have I. I’ve continued to thrive in an environment with enhanced support, a diverse client base, and an unwavering commitment to flexibility.  Collaborating with clients in different industries and contributing to various in-house projects keeps work consistently interesting, challenging, and fun!

Before finding Bookminders, I thought the only option that would allow a mom of young kids the type of scheduling flexibility needed was some part-time job in retail. I was delighted, however, when  Bookminders offered the ideal option to use my degree and experience while working from home and raising a family. This has meant so very much to me and my family! Now, 15 years after my journey with Bookminders began, my kids are independent, and I have eagerly grown my client portfolio and consistently contribute to internal projects. My confidence and expertise have continually grown, and I feel like I am valued and appreciated. I know I am providing a valuable service to business owners and am thankful for the mentorship and camaraderie many wonderful individuals at Bookminders have brought into my professional journey.
