Working at Bookminders has had such a positive impact on my life. The schedule and workload flexibility allows me to balance life and work without sacrificing either one. As a part-time accountant at Bookminders, I’ve been able to further my career and skills, feeling professionally fulfilled while remaining available for my family. The ability to work from home has allowed me to contribute to my family’s income without missing out on important daily moments and activities.

The diversity of my client portfolio has given me the chance to expand my skills and continually learn. As I take on new clients or encounter something I am not familiar with, the managers are always available and eager to help solve any problems. Rather than being intimidated by or afraid to take on new challenges, I feel supported and valued in my work and eager to tackle the next big thing. Being able to enjoy a truly meaningful career without losing out on time with family is an incredible feeling. Erica grew up in a small town west of Pittsburgh.  She graduated with a BS in accounting from Franciscan University and worked as the Office Manager & Bookkeeper for a law firm for 19 years.  Erica joined Bookminders in 2020 during the pandemic seeking a more flexible work-from-home position. In 2023, Erica was named a Team Advisor. Outside of work, Erica enjoys volunteering for her sons football booster club and spending time with her family.
