“Bookminders has made it possible for me to have my ideal work-life balance. I started working for the company when my children were in elementary school. The flexibility of my job has allowed me to attend school functions, sporting events, and field trips without feeling like I’m neglecting my work responsibilities.

After over a decade with the company, my work remains interesting and challenging. There are always opportunities for growth and trying new things. I’ve been able to add volume and variety to my work portfolio by taking on new bookkeeping clients, doing seasonal quality assurance work, and even playing a small part in recruiting new Bookminders.

My job has taught me to embrace challenges, solve problems, and look at things from a different point of view. I work in a very supportive environment, even though much of my work is done remotely. Our managers are very knowledgeable, and they’ll happily help solve a problem or provide a new project or work opportunity at any time.

My clients have diverse businesses and different accounting needs, ranging from basic to very detailed. I appreciate the routine of working with clients who have basic bookkeeping needs, and I enjoy the challenge of working with clients who have more complicated situations. I feel valued by my clients and by Bookminders, and I’m grateful that I’ve had the opportunity to do this rewarding work.”
