I joined Bookminders in 2018 after dedicating a decade to stay-at-home parenting, seeking a flexible yet fulfilling career opportunity. The decision to join Bookminders was transformative for me! The inherent flexibility allowed me to rebuild my career at my own pace, providing meaningful work while being present for my family. Here, I am constantly learning and growing, expanding my accounting knowledge, technical expertise, and collaboration skills.

Being part of Bookminders’ positive and organized corporate culture is both professionally and personally fulfilling. I love how the company’s high standards of quality align perfectly with my own. While I enjoy the freedom of working independently, I also feel like I am part of a team because I have the full support of management and other talented staff members when questions arise. I find immense value in learning from the expertise and experience of my colleagues and derive great satisfaction from sharing my knowledge with my advisees.

Tara grew up in Willow Grove, PA, and earned her bachelor’s degree at East Stroudsburg University. She previously worked at Merrill Lynch Asset Management, The Vanguard Group, and in private business. As a CPA-certified professional, Tara has been an integral part of the Bookminders team since 2018, advancing to the role of Team Advisor in 2023. Tara resides in Ambler, PA, with her husband and children. She enjoys Barre classes, walking, and hiking.
